The sobriety tracker that never leaves your phone.

A record of your hardest days is about as personal as data gets. It shouldn't live on someone else's server, get folded into an ad profile, or leak through a third-party SDK. So SoberDeck keeps it where it belongs — on your iPhone. No account, no cloud you didn't ask for, no trackers.

01 — How the privacy works

Private isn't a setting here. It's the architecture.

There's no privacy toggle to find, because there's nothing to switch off. The app simply has no way to collect what it never sends.

01

On-device by default

Every log is stored locally with Apple's SwiftData, protected by your device encryption and passcode or Face ID. Nothing is uploaded to our servers — because we don't have any.

02

No account, ever

No email, no password, no profile. Download, open, and start — there's no sign-up wall and nothing of yours to delete from a database.

03

No ads, no trackers

Zero advertising and zero third-party analytics SDKs. There is no one to sell your sobriety data to, so we built it that way from day one.

04

iCloud sync is optional

Want your deck on more than one device? Turn on iCloud sync — it rides on Apple's encrypted private CloudKit database, which the developer can't read. Leave it off and nothing leaves your phone.

05

Works fully offline

Logging, streaks, insights, milestones, and the support screen all work with no connection at all. Airplane mode changes nothing.

06

Export & erase anytime

Take your full history as CSV or PDF, or wipe every trace from the device in one tap. It's your data, in practice and not just in principle.

02 — Why it matters

The most personal data you have, treated that way.

Sobriety data is sensitive in a way a step count never is. A log of your hardest days deserves more than a checkbox in a settings screen. That's why privacy here isn't a feature bolted on later — it's the foundation the whole app is built on, and the reason there's no account standing between you and your first log.

Curious how we compare to the other private options? We wrote an honest rundown.

03 — Questions

Privacy questions, answered.

Is there a sobriety tracker that doesn't need an account?
Yes. SoberDeck requires no account at all — no email, no password, no profile. You download the app, choose your goal in a short onboarding, and you're logging within seconds. There's nothing to sign into and nothing of yours sitting in a database somewhere.
Where is my sobriety data stored?
On your iPhone. Every log is stored locally with Apple's on-device database (SwiftData), protected by your device encryption and passcode or Face ID. The developer runs no server that receives your logs, so in normal use your data never travels anywhere.
Does SoberDeck work offline?
Completely. Logging, streaks, insights, milestones, the journal, and the support resources all work with no connection. If you turn on optional iCloud sync, changes simply queue and sync the next time you're online.
Does the app have ads or trackers?
None. SoberDeck contains zero advertising and zero third-party analytics SDKs. There is no one to sell your sobriety data to. The App Store privacy label says it plainly: data not collected.
Can I delete all my data?
Yes — one tap in Settings erases everything from the device, with no questions and no recovery. You can also export your full history as CSV or PDF first. It's your history, and you stay in full control of it.
